Rocate Distribution Ltd is a highly specialist distributor with its warehouse and back office operations based in Harlow, Essex and its sales team near Hull, East Yorkshire. It sells to over 1000 specialist resellers and installers.

The business has developed over the last 3 years and Rocate prides itself on its product knowledge and technical ability, its knowledge and strength in its specific markets, its ability to offer accurate on time deliveries and support its reseller base to a very high level (even sorting out issues with its manufacturers on behalf of the reseller when the manufacturer specifies dealing directly with the reseller).

Its main vertical markets are:
•    CCTV Security systems hardware and solutions
•    Marine Displays and related hardware
•    Medical / Dental displays and related hardware
•    Hard Glass displays for Education resellers
•    Purchasing support for small / medium sized resellers needing unusual or difficult to find products.

Rocate’s main distribution contracts include:
•    AG Neovo specialist displays and accessories for the CCTV, Medical, Dental and Education markets, (Rocate is AG Neovo’s largest distributor in the UK and their fastest growing distributor throughout Europe)
•    Orion Technology specialist displays for CCTV, door entry systems etc.
•    Comrac mounting arms and brackets for the CCTV, medical and education market places
•    Eneo displays, camera’s, lens’s, recorders, lighting for the CCTV and other security solutions
Rocate also provides more standard IT products to these markets and are sub distributors for Toshiba, Fujitsu (previously Fujitsu Siemens) and LG electronics.

One of the key areas where Rocate has made excellent progress and provided these specialist resellers with genuine value add has been with servers. Historically CCTV companies and installers have used analogue technology and IP solutions are still relatively unknown to them. Rocate, coming from an IT background, has provided IP solutions incorporating the building and configuring of servers specifically for these resellers. Rocate has then bundled these servers with cameras, DVR’s and software to produce an off the shelf solution as well as bespoke solutions. This has helped transform several of the traditional CCTV installers business and has provided genuine increased profit to installers and resellers.
